After Hail Storm Part 2

The home owner insurance adjuster, Brad from St Louis finally came to look at the roof one Sunday morning, April 19th, and when he was done, he worked on his adjustment in his car using his laptop computer for 45 minutes. Then he gave me the paper works showing that our roof including the rain gutters was taking for $7,715.52 to replace. Dick nearly fainted when he found out the estimate cost. Brad said that he was going to send us a check from the hotel in Roanoke where he was staying in a few days.

The adjuster left the chalk markings on the roof.
We continued receiving the door flyers from the roofing companies and I noticed the roofers were knocking on the doors so I decided yesterday to post the note saying "No Roofers Needed" after Max from the Barton Roofing stopped by Monday for a short meeting on new shingles and vents. We decided not to replace the rain gutters because they looked fine even with some dents in order to save our money from paying the deductible. I received a last door flyer this morning and I guess the person did not read the note on the door. When the meeting with Max was done, he said that we were going to have the roof done in a week.
