Where were you in the 1980's?

I had purchased a brand new silver 1980 Ford Mustang on April 1980 and kept it for 25 years. I was sad when I sold it to a Mustang collector in Spokane before we moved to Texas in 2005. The engine had been replaced in 1996 and the body had been painted in 2000. I added some white stars two years later. I enjoyed working on it as a hobby.
I still have an Atari video game system and several games since 1980. The consoles were harder to hold and I played for short time because my hands were tired. The consoles for new and current games we now have like XBOX, Sony Playstion and Nintendo game systems since late 1995's were easy and comfortable to hold.

These were some movies that was done at the theater with no closed captioned. I didn't go watch them. I was excited to find out that there were some VCR movies with closed captioned so we rented them and enjoyed watching them. I like those 1980's movies better than the 2000's because they were more actions

There were NO internets, cell phones, video phones and wireless devices like Blackberry and Sidekicks during this years. We Deaf always had gotten together somewhere for chat after calling others on TTYs. I had spent more time reading without ending up on internet!
