After breakfast the next day, the moving truck that had been broken down on the highway the night before had been towed to the motel parking lot. I had asked the motel manager to make a call to the U-HAUL person to request a replacement and she was told that it would not be replace but they were going to fix it in next two days. We barked at him and requested it replaced which he did ordered it done. We waited allll day for the new truck till the young man in a tow truck had brought a new truck at 6:00 in the evening.
Finally the the truck was being replaced when the six movers had loaded everything into the new truck from an old one that took two and half hours finishing at 11:30 P.M.. before they rehooked a car trailer to a new one. Unfortunately the new truck was older with a straight stick.
We spent another night at the motel.
