After dinner we left Coeur D'Alene and we were very sad to leave my family, our friends and state of Idaho but we were very excited to begin our adventures in Texas. Richard used to live in Texas for 20 years as a dental lab technician instructor at the college for the Deaf in Big Spring, Texas before retiring and moving back to Washington state.
Before leaving Post Falls, I made an arrangement with an apartment in Plano, Texas online and put the deposit check with the printed application form filled out into the mail so we were able to get into it when we arrived there. When driving, I spent most of the time watching the truck and our little car on a trailer ahead of me.
