4th Of July Wedding

We were invited to a wedding by my chiropractor Jason and his new wife Amanda. They were married on 4th of July. Amanda is also chiropractor. They met at the college in Dallas and started dating. Her dad wore a white baseball cap with a logo "Father Of The Bride" on the front after the ceremony.
When we saw Jason coming out at the front waiting for Amanda to walk on an asle with her dad, I saw Dick dropping his mouth open because he said he thought Jason was young and handsome. I agreed with him.
We loved that chocolate cake, yum. Dick kept saying after the wedding how good it was so I printed a picture of the cake and taped it on the fridge because I thought it's cool.

Paul the CODA (children of deaf adults) who along with his son were also Jason's patients interpreted for us during the wedding. He also interpreted for me last year during my first few appointments at his office. Paul had recommended me to Jason when I told him at the Deaf Coffee Chat one night about my search for a new chiropractor. Paul loves to socialize with deaf people. He is originally from Chicago where his mother lives.

Jason's jeep

Just a month before wedding, Amanda wrote in their website saying that Jason took her to San Antonio for the weekend. They spent the day walking around the River Walk. That night he took her her out to eat and then up to the Tower Of Americans observation skyline deck. Looking out at the San Antonio at night he got down on one knee and asked her to marry him.
Jason always wanted to get married 4th of July on a beach. Amanda always wanted a June wedding in a little country church with a steeple. Their compromise....July 4th in a country church with a steeple of course. She liked to keep things simple and elegant and Jason loves bold and crazy, we could definitely see what each has contributed to the planning.
