Before hitting the road again toward Missoula for Texas, we got everything ready and spent more time with Dick's cousin and her husband who came to check on us.
Dick's cousin Joy and her husband Dale came from Spokane, Washington in the morning before we left Haugan, Montana to check on us the night after I had the motel manager call them letting them know whats going on. Its nice of them and we appreciate them very much. They also helped us get our clothes washed when we were loading the truck. We were unable to get ahold of my dad and brother Dale. I later found out that they were in Sandpoint, Idaho attending the annual musical festival that weekend by contacting Dale via text message when we were getting into Missoula, Montana. There was no covrage in the Haugan area since its on the top of the mountain and I found out that no one in that tiny town had an internet access. When we got settled in Texas, I sent thank you cards to some of the motel managers for making some calls for us.
Kelly waiting in a truck. She had shown some temper tantrum due the trip like sitting one the passender seat and looking straight our of the window.
Oue dog Kelly and cat Pumba were very good travelers. Its their first long trip to Texas. We continue giving them bottled water since we left North Idaho after I learned from my oldest son Micah that the change of local water would effect pets like it had happened to one of his two cats after he moved them to Seattle, Washington from Spokane. The vet advised him to give them bottled or filtered water.
