Broken Water Main Canceled Classes

Maintenance workers look at broken water main at Tarrant County College Northeast Campus in Hurst, Texas. The classes including evening classes were cancelled on Wednesday and Thursday due to broken water main leaving the 14,000 students campus without water and air conditioning. On Wedenesday morning I was leaving at 6:50 for school when I receiced the text message from my interpreter, Tiffany saying that someone texted her saying that the classes were closed due to broken water main, I took off from the road to check the college's Web site in my Sidekick pager to see if the classes were canceled and sure enought they were canceled. I went to the store instead to get some food and batteries and returned home. I thanked Tiffany for letting me know. I continued studying for my psychology test by using the flashcards and kept checking for update online and the classes were open this morning. The tests I was supposed to take were postponed until Monday giving me more time to study.
