Slow-Moving Storm In North Texas

I stole a couple of pictures from the http://www.wfaa.com/ the Fort Worth online news I check regularly for weather. The car on top was stuck in a flood in Dallas. The SUV someone driving through the flash flood in bottom picture which he was not supposed to. We were told not to drive through them because they will sweep cars away. There was a slow-moving storm system dropping a heavy rainfall in North Texas where we live receiving 5 or more inches. The wind gust was 100 MPH and over 1000 flights to and from the Dallas/Fort Worth airport were cancelled. Our friends Dean and Rosie who were supposed to be flying back to Dallas from Seattle after visiting with their children but were stuck at the Sea-Tac airport. Dean and I were talking via email from our Sidekick pagers when I asked him how the "Sleepless In Seattle" was that made him laugh. Their children took them back to their house to stay tonight. They will be flying back tomorrow to Dallas. They had lived in Seattle before moving to Frisco, Texas north of Plano a few years before we moved to Plano. A week after we moved there, we met them at the Deaf Coffee at Starbuck in Plano and became friends. We were originally from Washington state. Dean became deaf several years ago. He and Rosie have been learning ASL. Dean and other deaf guy, James helped us move to Fort Worth in 2006.
I'm on a Spring break and I was given some homework to do this week. I just finished my Psychology Chapter 8 study guide and will do a math online homework tomorrow.
Our dog Kelly didn't mind going outside getting wet from the heavy rain but wouldn'd releive herself and we towel dry her with a fabric softer sheet to reduce the bad odor every time she gets inside.
